Question by choronzon: Who is right – Stanislavski or Meierhold?
Stanislavski said that in order to “run correctly” one should evoke “the correct” sensory memory of fear. Meierhold – one should simply “run correctly” to get the “correct” sensory memory. I know the answer, but what do you think?

I’d be curious to know what you think the “right” answer is…not to be snarky, but it seems like a subjective question—I have very different, talented friends who subscribe to different methodologies. They’re both very powerful actors, so who’s wrong?

both are correct. i believe that you should find from both what method (s) work for you or if a combined method works for you. everyone is different
