Question by Sarah Lea: What are two Chekhov stories that can easily be compared?
I am taking Honors English Comp I and our next paper is a 5 page short story comparison using two of Chekhov’s short stories.

Had to look for and then through a book that includes some short work by Chekhov.
I’d suggest, if you want two stories I recall as somewhat (sort of) similar, “The Lady With the Little Dog” and “The Huntsman.”
For more contrast, suggest either of the two already mentioned and “A Boring Story.”
I’m sure there are more, I just include the ones I see now and (pretty well, not precisely) recall, as far as content and even style goes – they all differ somehow, but these I recall best.
Good luck on your honors paper.
