Question by : Contemporary Russian cinema?
I adore Tarkovsky. I really fancy Russian culture, that ‘classic’ one.
But I am sure that in spite of this, Russia changed so much because of Soviet reign. I want to learn more about this contemporary Russian culture… well, I think they kind of copy Hollywood most of the time and life there is quite terrific but anyway. I saw one amazing movie- Balabanov’s Cargo 200 but I can’t think of anything else. So what are some good contemporary Russian movies? I want something specific. Really Russian, and not about some mafia fights:)
