on my paper it says Tzar, so I am just going by what that says.

thanks for your help, but those links didn’t have much information on the question i was asking, it was more just general.

Firstly, it’s spelled “Tsar” or “Csar”. Here are some websites that should explain things.

    well the fact that the majority of the nation lived in squalor almost and were starving and the fact the Tsar/Tzar was married to someone at least partly German didn't help either at that time
