What did Khrushchev mean by “we will bury you”?

Question by rainydaze33: “We will bury you”? Nikita Khrushchev?
I’m a little confused here. So I have to write a paper on Nikita Khrushchev’s famous quote,”We will bury you”, and being a complete idiot, I’m not very sure on what it means, or particulary WHY he said this. If anyone can explain it to me, it would be great!
