Question by Reynold: What documents are needed to marry in Moscow to Russian citizen?
I am an American citizen wishing to marry in Moscow to Russian citizen. Does anyone know what personal documents are required from me?

    commitment to live in russia. you don't want to americanize your wife. you want to keep her russian,. you want her to remain close to her family. my wife was aghast to hear americans saying a child is no longer yours after 18 years old. a child is yours FOREVER! at least should be… watch what you get and watch what you change. try living in rssia for a year or so.
    all the paperwork, others touched on. you do have to have documents notarized, like birth certificate, police statement that you are not a criminal, previous marriage(s') divorce document, etc.
