Question by advait0: What is the uniform worn by Kings and specifically the (past) Russian Tzar to formal occasions?
What is the uniform usually worn by Kings and also the Russian Tzar long ago?

I understand Princes often wear honorary military uniforms. I have seen black ones (the most common), and scarlet ones.

Also do they always wear 3 orders, and what are the decorations they normally wear with the uniform?

I do not think most of them even have a name. They are just dress uniforms. Each member of royalty is assigned some ranking in a particular unit, and they wear the uniform of that unit. The decorations are issued as honours, mostly. I think it is the Danes who have an elephant, and then there is the English order of the Garter. In recent generations there have not been many righting royals, but both the English Charles and Edward wear awards they have earned.
