Question by shadowlp06: What is the value of a copy of Anna Karenina, first edition?
Any book dealers or collectors know the value of a first edition of Anna Karenina? It is not in the best shape but we found it at a book sale and are curious to its worth.

You’ll need to take it to a dealer, because no one here can give you an appraisal without seeing it.
I’m assuming it’s in Russian? If not, then you’re talking about a first American or British edition. That would be less valuable than a first Russian edition. The identity of the translator and the date of the translation could make a difference, too. It could be merely a first edition of a given translation.
