Question by [email protected]: What does it mean when a russian girl calls you bibooshka?
I’m a man and this russian girl I know sometimes calls me what sounds like babooshka. I know that means grandmother so I’m a bit confused. I was a bit drunk but she’s said it before and she won’t explain.
Could I have misheard it? It definitely ended in booshka and it wasn’t dedushka I’m sure.

It means grandma maybe she’s saying something to do with you being a grandma

could it be "bebichka" – russianized ford for "baby"
or "boobochka" – russianized word for "boo"(like "he's my boo")
or "babochka" – butterfly

My family has some Polish and a babushka is a head scarf (see the link below). It is also Russian for Grandmother which another person mentioned. I wonder if she is actually calling you something or rather muttering to herself something about being a Grandmother? Maybe she's commenting on your hair??
OR maybe it is like saying, "You're over the top." This is just a guess!!

I'm russian too, but I really can't understand why she calls you "babooshka", maybe she has her own reasons.
