They're made in Russia, Poland and the Ukraine. You roll your savoury pastry thin, then cut into rounds about 10 cm. diameter. Put about a tablespoon of filling in the middle. It can be meat, vegetables or cheese or a combination. Fold in half and seal the edges, and cook in a hot oven. They're really good.
