Question by Kris: What was the exchange of words between Dostoevsky and the other individual from the Petrashevsky Circle?
During their mock execution I’ve heard that Dostoevsky said something to another member of the Petrashevsky Circle along the lines of “We shall be together under/with Christ” and the man answered “We shall be dust.” Does anyone know what the actual exchange of words was? I’m looking for the French since that’s what it was actually said in.
If you don’t know the answer but know where the answer might be that’s also good.

The original exchange went like this:
Dostoevsky – Nous serons avec le Christ (We’ll be together with Christ).
Speshvev – Un peu de poussiere» (as a handful of dust).
