Question by GIR: Where and when was the testing of the Tsar Bomba?
please no wikipedia links.

i read sometime ago it was tested in the Novaya Zemlya in the arctic circle, and the blast was so big, people in Britain could see it.

(located above the arctic circle
in the Arctic Sea). Approximate
coordinates were 73.85N, 54.50E
