Where is the Russia Core located?

Question by Hiyorin: Where is the Russia Core located and what cities are located there?
And, How does the Core differ from other parts of Russia?

They are questions from my geography class.
Please tell me.

The Russian Core is where the vast majority of the population lives. That’s in Western Russia. The majority of the cities revolve around Moscow, the dominant city. Other cities include St. Petersburg, Nizhny Novgorod, and Samara.
