Which city is better for a student learning Russian in?

Question by Miaow!: Which city is better for a student learning Russian in? Saint Petersburg or Moscow?
I ve heard that Moscow is VERY expensive. Is saint petersburg more reasonable? also what is the best price in both cities for a one bedroom decent apartement? I have seen apartements online anf they look very fancy and expensive, I just want a place to live in nothing extravagant but also in a nice enough art of either city.. Which city is better to learn Russian in for an english speaker? Thank you

I'm not sure about the prices but Moscow is a more 'education oriented' city. There is a major university down town and you know that would be very 'international' friendly. St. Petersburg is a bit more tourist oriented though it may still be a good place to learn. I just think you would find more suitable resources for a student learning abroad in Moscow rather than St. Petersburg.
