Question by aye: Who was Alexander Kerensky as a person?
What was Kerensky’s personality like? Not focusing too much on his accomplishments, but rather on Kerensky as a person. Any quotes or sources would be appreciated. Thanks!

A useful book that discusses Kerensky is Robert K. Massie’s “Nicholas and Alexandra,” which should be available in any library. And, if I’m remembering correctly, Kerensky himself wrote books on his experiences, some with a co-author. The site below discusses them.
Massie was sympathetic to Kerensky, whom he seems to have interviewed. (At the time, the 85-year-old Kerensky was living in the U.S.) He was a liberal and a non-Bolshevist, if that means anything to you, but he was also somewhat weak — though, to be fair, he was fighting off a tide of history that no one, by 1917, could have held back.
